Do you know where the history of games began? So, the story goes way back, during World War II, there was a cool scientist named Edward U. Condon.

Well, this Edward had a brilliant idea to create a computer that could play games! Truly remarkable creativity that leaves us amazed.

Now, the first game successfully played by a computer was the game Nim. Nim itself is a type of traditional game involving small sticks. So, basically, this computer managed to defeat many human players, you know! Cool, right?

Then, not long after that, there was a professor from England named A.S. Douglas. This game became a favorite among visitors to the Brookhaven National Laboratory in New York, you know! Exciting, isn’t it?

But, the most legendary one is undoubtedly Spacewar! This game was created by a group of students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the 1960s.

So, the story goes, this game was inspired by science fiction novels about space travel. In this game, we can experience exciting duels between two spacecraft.
